On May 20th at 6 p.m., the association of active pain patients, PainLOS eV, in collaboration with the Kiel Pain Clinic, invites you to a lecture event. Prof. Hartmut Göbel, head physician of the pain clinic, and senior physicians Dr. Axel Heinze and the senior physician Dr. Katja Heinze-Kuhn about chronic pain, its current treatment options and news from migraine and headache treatment. Heike Norda from the board of PainLOS e. V. reports on ways out of the pain trap from the patient's perspective. The event takes place in Heikendorfer Weg 9-27, seminar room II. Admission is free. Later, a new self-help group for people with chronic pain was founded. Details will be announced at the event.

Everyone knows pain. But what happens if the pain remains, i.e. becomes chronic? It becomes its own disease that needs to be treated. Those affected not only suffer physically, but also mentally and socially. In the self-help group, those affected find understanding, advice and help. In this way, the community can help those similarly affected to live better with this disease.

PAINLESS e. V. is the nationwide association of active pain patients. We offer the establishment and support of self-help groups, exercise options, help with applying for a severely disabled person's ID card and much more.

PAINLESS e. V. works independently and transparently and has joined the MEZIS organization.
