Deputy administrative manager (m/f/d) wanted for pain clinic Kiel

As part of a regulated age succession, we are looking for a convincing, both personally and professionally, full-time manager as a deputy head of administration (m/f/d) . The current administrative director will retire in the coming years. During this time, you have the opportunity to gain extensive training with the prospect of subsequently taking on the position of administrative manager.

The Kiel Pain Clinic was founded in 1997 as a scientific model project from the Kiel University Hospital by Prof. Dr. Hartmut Göbel founded. Today we act as a nationwide center for multimodal pain therapy and work with coordinated treatment plans and regional pain therapists in practices and clinics. Every year we treat over 1,800 patients from all over Germany. We have been included in the hospital plan since 2013 and offer fully inpatient acute treatments for chronic pain in accordance with Sections 108 No. 3 and 109 SGB V. The clinic specializes in neurobehavioral medicine treatment procedures for pain in the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems as well as the muscles. We ensure comprehensive care through selective contracts with innovative health insurance companies. Our goal is to make the knowledge available worldwide on the treatment of chronic pain directly benefit patients. We are also committed to research into neurological pain disorders, migraines and other headaches in order to further improve future treatments.

Your tasks include:

  • Appointment planning and administrative support for our patients
  • Preparation of invoices for inpatient stays and checking of incoming invoices
  • Creation of cost estimates
  • Personnel matters
  • Ordering office supplies and negotiating prices
  • Creation of statistics and evaluations
  • Medical controlling
  • Coordination of medical device testing
  • Preparation and participation in budget negotiations
  • Creation of INEK reports
  • Negotiation of IV fees
  • Organization of the annual financial statements
  • Creation and sending of GOÄ invoices
  • Booking of incoming payments and dunning
  • Analysis of case and performance data

 Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training as a healthcare clerk or completed training with a technical connection to the task or comparable qualification with a focus on hospital management. Lateral entrants with appropriate pragmatic management experience are also addressed
  • Several years of professional experience in healthcare
  • Good organizational skills and a high level of personal responsibility
  • Careful and reliable way of working
  • Friendly and competent demeanor
