Dear Colleagues,

The Migraine and Headache Masterclass 2013 is designed for doctors and therapists who have already acquired in-depth experience in research, clinical diagnosis and treatment of migraine and headache disorders. It is intended to provide in-depth knowledge and skills for the practical care of complex disease processes. The course is organized by the nationwide headache treatment network and the migraine and headache center of the Kiel Pain Clinic specifically for network partners of integrated care.

The Migraine and Headache Masterclass provides contemporary knowledge and practical skills through plenary lectures, debates, case-based small group work and hands-on workshops. The focus of the course is the direct practical and interactive implementation of the current scientific findings on the treatment of migraine and headache disorders.

Video-based case presentations and live presentations of specific headache disorders complement the practical transfer of knowledge. Current innovative treatment methods, such as the use of neurotoxins and neuromodulation, are demonstrated and practiced by experts using practical case studies.

In order to deepen the basic knowledge and practical skills, materials for learning objective monitoring and certification are made available to participants after the course.

The migraine and headache master course is suitable for neurologists, pain therapists, neurosurgeons, psychologists and other interested medical professionals.

The practice-oriented curriculum incorporates the knowledge and experience from the specialized work of the nationwide headache treatment network and the nationwide outpatient and inpatient care of migraine and headache patients at the Kiel Pain Clinic.

I warmly invite you to participate.
