Digimeda is a database for digital medicine in Germany. Digimeda helps to assess the quality of digital care offerings in Germany. The aim is to provide an overview of which digital care offerings are available for a specific illness or purpose and which of them are trustworthy and secure. Digimeda lists tests to which the individual health applications have been subjected. Digital health applications are listed in an order based on the number of certifications and other audits the offering has undergone. This results in a ranking of digital health applications. The ranking logic is regularly reviewed together with an expert advisory board.

The migraine app from the Kiel Pain Clinic and the Techniker Krankenkasse was placed at number 1 on the list in both the “Digital health aides for headaches” and the “Digital health aides for migraines” category. We are delighted with this top ranking. The migraine app is a free service from the Kiel Pain Clinic and the Techniker Krankenkasse. It was developed in collaboration with doctors specializing in the practical care of migraine and headache patients in the nationwide headache treatment network, headache scientists, care experts from the Techniker Krankenkasse and self-help groups. The migraine app is directly integrated into specialized, contemporary medical care. The main focus of development is the direct implementation of current scientific findings for the digital provision of professional, coordinated diagnostics and therapy for migraines and headaches.
