What helps with headaches and migraines? This question is the focus of a service hotline run by AOK Schleswig-Holstein

Headaches and migraines represent a growing health problem today. Over 70 percent of Germans suffer from headaches at some point. Alarmingly, more and more children and teenagers are affected by this "torture in the head." A study of almost 7,000 students shows that by the age of 12, around 90 percent of children have experienced headaches. The "throbbing head" becomes a torment for those affected and often impacts their family and work lives. As a result, their quality of life is frequently severely impaired. The AOK health insurance company offers helpful advice and support through its service hotline.
