Prof. Dr. Göbel is head of the Kiel Regional Pain Center of the German Society for Pain Therapy eV . The regional pain centers are also contact points for all questions regarding pain therapy care.
All regional pain centers hold interdisciplinary pain conferences in an open group of therapists, to which all clinical disciplines (doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, etc.) are welcome and in which patients with problematic chronic pain diseases are presented and their treatment is discussed. There are a variety of opportunities for collaboration with colleagues who are interested in pain therapy and who specialize in algesiology.
