“I have chronic migraines”

Migraine is a neurological disorder. Most sufferers show no outward signs of the illness unless you encounter them during an acute attack. Migraine, especially chronic migraine, is not a simple headache, but one of the most severe pain conditions that can afflict people. Women are particularly affected. It's not just the typical, usually one-sided, stabbing, throbbing, pulsating headaches that are present – ​​the entire body is affected. Sometimes the attack begins with aura symptoms, and sufferers also experience nausea and/or vomiting, dizziness, exhaustion, sensitivity to light and noise, social isolation, and depression. Migraine is an independent primary disease and not a symptom of another illness! Sufferers are neither unwilling to work, mentally ill, nor are they seeking attention.
