Do you suffer from migraines and light sensitivity? Do you wear glasses every day?
Then you are cordially invited to participate in our study!
What is it about?
We are investigating whether special filter lenses can help reduce migraine days and alleviate light sensitivity .
Who can participate?
You can participate if you:
- are aged 18 and over,
- have at least 10 migraine days per month,
- wear glasses with single-vision lenses (not progressive lenses),
- suffer from light sensitivity
- own a smartphone
- live in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Bremen or in northern Lower Saxony.
How is the study conducted?
- Suitability test (approx. 30 minutes): Online questionnaires on migraine & health.
- Baseline Phase (1 month): Daily keeping of an electronic migraine diary.
- First wearing phase (2 months): Wearing glasses with special filter lenses, daily documentation.
- Second wearing phase (2 months): Wearing a different pair of filter glasses, daily documentation.
- A positive vote has been received from the ethics committee of the University of Kiel.
