via our migraine and headache forum Headbook (www.headbook.me) . The study will examine and analyze the benefits that migraine and headache sufferers can derive from exchanging information within the Headbook community for themselves and their condition. The results could provide insights into how the care of those affected should and could be improved.
The research project is being conducted by student Christin Streese and supervised by Prof. Carsten Schultz, Chair of Technology Management at Kiel University. Prof. Göbel and Bettina Frank, moderator of Headbook, are very supportive of the project and greatly appreciate the support of active Headbook members and readers. Readers who are not registered with Headbook can also participate in the survey.
The results from these contributions and the online questionnaire will be incorporated into the master's thesis in a completely anonymized manner; therefore, it is impossible to draw conclusions about participating individuals.
Upon completion, the master's thesis will be made available on Headbook and on the Kiel Pain Clinic's website. Improvements in healthcare provision benefit all those affected. All Headbook members and readers can actively contribute to this project and help bring about positive change.
