Arrival by plane, train and car

There are very cheap flights to Hamburg from most airports in Germany, which are often significantly cheaper than train and car connections.

There is a direct and comfortable bus connection between Hamburg Airport and Kiel Central Station, the Kielius bus. Buses run hourly. You can find the current timetable here.

From the main train station, take bus line 11 or express bus line 60S to the pain clinic, stop Grenzstraße.

There are taxis in front of the main train station. The journey to the pain clinic, Heikendorfer Weg (approx. 15 minutes) costs around 10 euros.

Directions by car from Hamburg: Take the A7 to the Bordesholm interchange, then the A215 to Kiel.
Directions from Flensburg: Take the A7 to the Rendsburg interchange, then the A210 and finally the A215 to Kiel.

In Kiel, always follow the signs for “Ostuferhafen”, you will then be directed to the clinic: first onto the B76 (Westring/Theodor-Heuss-Ring) towards Lübeck, then onto the B502 (Ostring) towards Laboe.

After crossing the Schwentine River in Neumühlen-Dietrichsdorf, follow the signs for “Ostuferhafen” (East Bank Port). Leave the B502 (Ostring) through the tunnel and turn left onto Heikendorfer Weg (please do not continue straight ahead to Heikendorf). The Kiel Pain Clinic is located approximately 200 meters further on the left, on the bank of the Schwentine estuary.
