BKK expert chat on the topic of migraines
Gütersloh, September 6, 2019. Migraine attacks are excruciating, often incapacitating sufferers for several days. What is the right treatment? What can be done to prevent them? In the expert chat next Monday, September 9, all interested parties can ask our expert, Professor Hartmut Göbel, founder and head physician of the neurological-behavioral pain clinic in Kiel, their questions about migraines.
A migraine attack is often unbearable and extremely debilitating. Your head throbs and pounds, making daily activities at home or at work nearly impossible. When a migraine is this severe or recurs frequently, simply keeping a pack of painkillers in your drawer won't suffice. Our expert will be available to discuss treatment options, tips, and self-help strategies in a chat session from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Professor Hartmut Göbel is a specialist in neurology, particularly pain therapy, psychotherapy, and holds a diploma in psychology. He is the founder and head physician of the neurological-behavioral pain clinic in Kiel. His research focuses on clinical studies of primary and secondary headache disorders, new approaches to pain management, and studies on novel therapies for migraine and headaches. He is the author of numerous publications in the field of pain therapy, including: "Successfully Combating Headaches and Migraines: Eliminating Causes, Targeted Prevention, and Self-Help Strategies."
