Heike Norda from the board of SchmerzLOS e.V. will discuss ways out of the pain trap from the patient's perspective. The event will take place at Heikendorfer Weg 9-27, Seminar Room II. Admission is free. A new self-help group for people with chronic pain will be founded later. Details will be announced at the event.

Everyone experiences pain. But what happens when the pain persists, becoming chronic? It becomes a condition in its own right, requiring treatment. Those affected suffer not only physically, but also emotionally and socially. In a self-help group, they find understanding, advice, and support. This community of others facing similar challenges can help them live better with the condition.

SchmerzLOS e. V. is a nationwide association of active pain patients. They offer services such as the establishment and support of self-help groups, exercise programs, assistance with applications for disability cards, and much more.

SchmerzLOS e. V. works independently and transparently and has joined the organization MEZIS.
