The Kiel Pain Clinic has expanded its free migraine app with an innovative feature: The new AI chatbot "Migraine.AI" provides sufferers with reliable information and practical tips on migraines and other headache disorders around the clock. "Migraine.AI" can be activated directly in the app's start menu via the icon (see screenshot) or in the main menu.

“Migraene.AI” is based on scientifically sound content – ​​including specialist literature by Prof. Dr. Hartmut Göbel, Director of the Kiel Pain Clinic, as well as international guidelines such as the classification of headache disorders. This provides users with a unique, digital resource that conveys expertly reviewed information in an easily understandable way and offers support in everyday life.

“The digital enhancement of our care concepts offers patients quick orientation, makes everyday life easier and strengthens their self-efficacy in dealing with headaches and migraines,” explains Prof. Dr. Hartmut Göbel.

Comprehensive information and support:
The migraine app with integrated chatbot is available free of charge in the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store. In addition to general information and personalized tips, it offers a variety of tools for monitoring your individual progress: These include a digital pain diary, an expert search function, and now also direct consultation with "Migraine.AI". The chatbot is easily accessible in the app's main menu and can be used at any time.

Technology and data protection at the highest level:
The chatbot's technical implementation was carried out in close collaboration with the Buddy platform. All content was editorially adapted to the specific needs of migraine and headache patients. Particular emphasis is placed on data protection: All data is processed exclusively on secure servers in Germany. No external third-party services are used.
