This year, Stern magazine has once again published its annual list of recommended doctors in its special issue "Good Doctors for Me." Professor Dr. Hartmut Göbel has once again received a double recommendation from the magazine. According to Stern, the honored experts are among the top physicians in Germany. Professor Göbel received one award in the field of pain therapy and another in the field of diabetic polyneuropathy.

The ranking aims to make it easier for patients to find highly specialized experts in their respective fields. The list of top German physicians is compiled in cooperation with the independent research institute MINQ. A comprehensive, multidimensional evaluation approach is used. Inclusion is strictly based on patient interests, and the physicians' specific qualifications are analyzed. The evaluation also incorporates extensive interviews with physicians, patient recommendations, and an assessment of their scientific work, publications in national and international specialist journals, and speaking engagements.

Prof. Göbel was once again included in the Focus ranking “Germany’s Top Doctors” in the list of top physicians 2023.
